Sydney Gilfillan Memorial Football Tournament We are holding a Football Tournament in memory of our late Building Supervisor, Mr Sydney Gilfillan, on Friday 6 June at Omagh Leisure Centre. Sydney was passionate about pupils having the opportunity to participate in sport. We are delighted that a significant number of local schools will join us to mark this event. |
Building Supervisor Appointment Mr Paul Adams has been appointed as the School’s new Building Supervisor. Paul has been covering this post since September and we have no doubt he will continue to ensure our school is maintained to the highest standard. |
School Mobile Number and Busy Bees We now have a school mobile for contacting Busy Bees Club. Any phone calls after 4.00pm should be made to this number 07359710943. We would advise storing this number for future reference as it will also be used for school trips and other outings. Busy Bees continues to run each afternoon from 3.00pm until 5.00pm at a cost of £8. This can be booked via the online booking system used for school dinners. |
School Photographs School photographs for Sports Teams, Year 1 and Year 7 class groups have been booked for Thursday 29 May. Year 7 friendship groups will also be taken on this day. |
Sports Day As you can imagine it is incredibly hard to plan a date for Sports Day given the changeable weather we experience. Given the current good spell of weather we are hoping to run Sports Day week beginning the 19 May, (weather permitting), for both KS1 and KS2. However, we have also booked out Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 June as potential dates should we need to defer from week beginning 19 May. |
Sports Team Events Our Football Team will be competing in the McDonalds Competition on Friday 16 May, at The Station Centre. Our Cross-Country Team will also be travelling to the Bawnacre, Irvinestown on Tuesday 3 June to compete in the FODC event. Similarly, our Rugby Team travel to Enniskillen on Friday 13 June to compete in the Enniskillen Model Blitz. Good luck to all involved. |
