School Uniform As you already know we are updating our PE kit which can now be purchased at Watersons or Select Kidz in town. Pupils can still wear our current PE top next year to allow for a smooth transition. Hoodies and Quarter Zip tops are also being stocked in both shops; however, these are OPTIONAL items and do not need to be bought unless you wish to do so. |

Staff Retirements and changes Mrs Russell is retiring after 35 years in Gibson while Mrs Shortt is retiring having been one of our Language Class teachers for over 20 years. Both ladies are excellent teachers who will be missed. We want to thank them for everything they’ve done and will be holding special assemblies for them both towards the end of June. We also want to acknowledge our Chair of Governors, Rev J Cowan who is moving to Dungannon Presbyterian Church. He has been an excellent support to the school and he, like our retiring teachers, will be hard to replace! |
|
Sporting Events We have a number of sporting events and tournaments taking place between now and the end of term with pupils participating in football and hockey matches. Our own school football tournament in memory of Sydney Gilfillan is scheduled for Friday 12 June and we wish all the teams participating lots of luck. |
